Agapé Festival – Nieuwegein
Full of God's unconditional love and power
Are you eager to make God's love visible in a neighborhood where hope, attention, and practical help are so desperately needed? Then you are most welcome at the Agapé Festival.
On Saturday, July 18th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM we will gather at the Nijpelsplantsoen in Nieuwegein to practically and powerfully share God's love with the neighborhood.
We believe that God touches hearts, restores lives, and that His love becomes visible through us—through encounters, prayer, service, and sharing the Gospel.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? Romans 10:13–14
About the festival
Nijpelsplantsoen is located in a neighborhood with many single-parent families and families facing financial difficulties. It is precisely there that we, as the body of Christ, want to be present: not only with words, but especially with acts of God's love.
During this day, we believe that people will encounter God, be encouraged, and receive faith, hope, and love for their lives.
What happens on the day itself
The festival is a day full of life, joy, and practical love:
- Evangelism and conversations with the community
- Activities and workshops for all ages
- Adoration and worship
- Prayer team
- Baptismal pool available
- Practical help and encouragement for families
- Delicious food stalls
In addition, we are giving 300 pairs of sports shoes and 300 school bags to children, so they can start the new school year well-prepared.
Join us and help build
We believe everyone has a role in what God wants to do. You can participate in various ways:
- Prayer and spiritual support
- Evangelism in the community
- Distributing gifts (shoes and school bags)
- Guiding activities and children
- Hospitality and welcoming visitors
- Site setup and teardown
- Supervision and safety
- Logistics support
- Media: video & photography
- Sound, tech, and worship
Whether you come for an hour or serve all day—your presence makes a difference.

begeleiden?
We're thrilled you want to volunteer as a HvA Coach (Huis van Agapé Coach)!
As a coach, you help and guide young people to grow and walk in their God-given identity. What a beautiful and valuable role!
To become a coach, there are a few requirements:
🌟 You are at least 18 years old.
🌊 You have been baptized by immersion (believer's baptism) and filled with the Holy Spirit.
❤️ You have a heart and passion for teenagers and young adults.
📆 You can commit to the group for at least one year.
🤝 You are reliable, willing to be vulnerable, and work in a way that is both goal- and relationship-focused.
